Ghoulia And Sallyby *tbdoll

So I finally decided to give customizing a Monster High doll a try. I decided to try to make Sally, because since her skintone is basically the same as Ghoulia's I wouldn't have to attempt to re-color the whole doll.

I started with a Dead Tired Ghoulia, one of which is standing beside Sally to show what I started with and what my results were.

She's wearing a red Liv wig and a dress I painted and sewed together myself. The dress isn't exact but I think it's pretty damned close. You can't see the stripes I added to the red part very well but they're there.

She's also wearing the shoes that came with Draculaura's Newspaper Club outfit. I've photoshopped them to be pure black instead of black and pink. I cannot decide yet if I'm going to paint the shoes all black or try to make Sally her own pair of black shoes. Her socks are more like leg warmers I made tucked into her shoes.

I sort of want to paint her stand orange but I'm not sure yet. I may also pick up some Super Sculpey at some point and make her some props. We'll see.

It's not my first doll mod, I practiced on some cheaper dolls first, but it's my first attempt modifying a Monster High doll. I'm pretty pleased with her.

I think Holt Hyde would have a nice face for Jack. You would have to spray paint him white, though.
