More members of the band!
The one on the left is Theodore "Teddy" Boone, and he belongs to me. He is their rhythm guitarist. He's superstitious, a conspiracy theorist, and has some crazy daddy issues. He's a big slut, but there's a certain someone that he always ends up coming back to. Horror-punk is where his interests mostly lie, but he enjoys anything fast and rebellious.
The one on the right is Quinn McKinleigh, and he belongs to my friend, Kit. He is the band's lead guitarist. I've already drawn him a few times before. Quinn is awkward and bookish to a point of concern (he actually does math for fun). While scholarly topics are important to Quinn, music wins out each time and he's the one who gathered together all the members for this band.
I decided to draw these guitarists together in one piece so I could give two full figures another shot (I still do need more practice with full body figures), and because Quinn and Teddy have a pretty amazing bromance that I love working with. They met waiting in line for a show for a band neither of them had heard of. Soon enough they figured out they both had the same philosophy when it came to music and became fast friends.
I'm really glad I finally got to draw Teddy. He's really one of my favorite characters of mine, he's just so blunt and obscene.
Their appearances are based on Gerard Way and Frank Iero, though I was hoping not to make it so exact.
I just need to draw their drummer now, but that sounds so complicated I'm soooo not in a big rush to draw him.
Also, the title is from a song performed by the Great Kat.
Thank you again to Dustin Bones and the Body Stealers for letting me take reference pictures at their band practice.
