International My Chemical Romance Day

So, IMCRD is coming up!  While some people have events that they will be hosting or attending, a lot of us will be celebrating alone, and at home.

Well, I don’t want this to be the case.  We should bond together and celebrate being fans with one another!

So, I want to host an online, Life on the Murder Scene viewing party that day, for those of us who otherwise don’t have any plans.

Have you ever watched a movie with someone over the phone?  That’s the basic concept for this.  What you’ll need is:

-A Twitter account
-Free Time
-A copy of Life on the Murder Scene
--For those of you without one, it is on youtube, search “Life On The Murder Scene Part 1”

We will start at 12:00PM Pacific Time (I'm in Vegas, so whenever that time is for you) on IMCRD.  At this time we shall all click the wonderful “play” button and begin our viewing party!

There will be two twenty-minute intermissions where we will all set the video on pause.  Why are we having intermissions?  Someone is going to have to pee.  Someone is going to be hungry and need to go make a sandwich.  People will probably need a coffee refill at some point and I’m sure someone’s mother is going to be like “Bitch, vacuum the living room NOW.”  This will also give those of us who may have had to pause earlier to catch up before we hit play again.

The intermissions will be set for specific title slides rather than “EVERYONE HIT PAUSE NOW.”  Like, hit pause for the first intermission when you get to the screen that says “Taking on the World.”

Even with the intermissions, we’ll be done in plenty of time to make the #MCRchat on twitter. =]

We will probably be using tinychat or tweetchat.  When I have a specific link to the chat, I’ll post it.  It may also be helpful for you guys to follow me or Pintsizedromeo on twitter and we’ll keep you updated.  My twitter username is the same as this one, tbdoll.

I hope you guys can attend, if everything goes smoothly it should all be fine.

First Intermission scheduled for when the screen reads "Taking On The World" at approximately 37 minutes in.

Second Intermission scheduled for when the screen reads "Candyland" at approximately 1 hour, 23 minutes in.

A few rules:
-Fangirling is frowned upon.  We know.  They are attractive.  No need to make people uncomfortable with your squealing.
-BE NICE.  This is supposed to be a fun way for fans to get together and bond with other fans.  I don't want anyone attacking anyone else and making anyone else feel bad.  We're all fans here.
-Elitism is bad.  We are all fans.
-Spamming is bad too.
-Try to keep your volume on the movie down.  We don't need everyone hearing an echo of what they're watching and getting confused and overwhelmed.
